A Wife is NOT required to liquidate and deplete her assets to provide for living expenses in lieu of the Husband's alimony

In the case of Grill v. Grill, 39 FLW D2187a (Fla. 2d DCA) opinion filed October 18, 2013, the trial court erred in denying alimony based on the apparent reasoning that the Wife's inability to explain how she spent money from the sale of nonmarital property suggested she owned significant unidentified assets and was required to liquidate them and deplete them to provide for her living expenses before she had a "need" such that the Husband should be ordered to pay alimony.
